Instruments

Second Life

Second Life connects donated instruments with students and community organizations.

  • Instruments are provided at no cost to recipients.
  • Volunteers coordinate pickup and delivery.
  • Large instruments require insured professional movers. We seek a donated move or a sponsor for each one.

Mini Maestros

Mini Maestros brings student musicians to senior care communities for live performances and conversation.

  • About 45 minutes of music. Any instrument. No audition.
  • A parent or guardian chaperones every visit.
  • Return visits help students and residents build relationships.
  • Visits are free for host communities.

A Cycle of Giving

Every donated instrument carries a hope: that the student who receives it will one day share music with others. Each gift inspires the next, creating a cycle of goodwill that grows with every musician it reaches.

How It Works

Submit a Request

Tell us which instrument you need, who will play it, and where you are located.

Find a Match

Volunteers review available donations and look for a suitable instrument. Availability and timing vary.

Arrange Delivery

We coordinate pickup and delivery at no cost to you. Pianos and other large instruments require professional movers, and we will tell you if a move cannot be arranged.
